Job Description:

You will serve as an OPERATIONS RESEARCH ANALYST in the TACTICAL READINESS & TRAINING DIVISION (N7) of PAC FLEET SUB FORCE OPS COMPONENT.
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional Operations Research Analyst utilizing a range of statistical methods to identify and produce mathematical models derived from operations research analysis by modifying operational dilemmas to create efficiencies of operational processes. You will serve as tactical systems Modernization Director and Strike Officer (N73) and provide operations research analysis and operational support to COMSUBPAC.
You will schedule, monitor, and evaluate the employment and operational effectiveness of modernized fire control, sonar, imagery, electronic warfare, and strike warfare systems onboard COMSUBPAC submarines.
You will serve as a senior systems engineer and expert on submarine tactical systems.
You will review analytical reports to identify deficiencies and formulate solutions.
