To qualify for a Supervisory IT Specialist (ENTARCH), your resume and supporting documentation must support: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-15 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes: Establishes long-range business planning efforts, priorities and schedules for the EA office, and assigning work to subordinates within the office to meet the corporate and EA vision, goals, and objectives, and assuring successful implementation of projects subordinates manage and oversee. Develops the enterprise-level view of the infrastructure, services, and portfolios in order to support strategic level decision-making on how best to apply IT resources to support the mission. Plans, develops, integrates and initializes operational and functional requirements into strategic plans, and automated information system requirements to ensure that business needs are efficiently integrated into information acquisition plans and programs. Provides direct and immediate support to Program Managers and related offices assigned the responsibility to develop and acquire information system solutions. Participates in the evaluation of functional concepts related to the development and maintenance of enterprise logical and physical data models. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Serves as the principal advisor on Enterprise Architecture (EA) to the Chief Information Officer (CIO), Deputy CIO, and Chief Technology Officer (CTO), DLA Information Operations (J6).
Responsible for the planning, development and maintenance of the DLA EA in conjunction with Agency-wide business process re-engineering and digital transformation efforts.
Responsible for compliance with DLA and DoD policies governing EA, to include the DoD architecture frameworks.
Serves as Chief, Enterprise Architecture responsible for guiding and overseeing the planning and development of the Enterprise Architecture, consisting of the as-is and to-be states, and enterprise roadmap for achieving the to-be state.
Functions as an Agency-wide recognized EA technical authority and expert with in-depth knowledge of the theoretical foundations of EA.
