Job Description:

You will serve as a Program Analyst (Nuclear S&I Pay) in the OPNAV N1/Personnel, Manpower, and Training of PERS WASHINGTON. SALARY: GS-11: $84,601-$109,975 GS-12: $101,401-$131,826
GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Investigating and adjudicating SUBPAY discrepancies for Total Operational Submarine Service (TOSS) for individual Sailors; 2) Determining individual eligibility for CONSUBPAY or OPSUBPAY; 3) Performing annual independent audit and adjudication of Submarine Service Entry Dates (SSED); 4) Analyzing Continuous and Operational SUBPAY execution trends and budgetary projections. GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Analyzing data using a variety of software tools to identify required actions; 2) Reviewing legislative initiatives, regulations, and policies; 3) Planning audits, and nuclear enlisted reenlistment compensation assessments. You will work independently, but within the framework of established practices and prescribed procedures.
You will perform more complicated assignments under close supervision of the supervisor.
You will receive instructions on what to do, the methods to use, what to look for, and what to bring to the attention of the supervisor.
You will be provided detailed and specific instructions for developmental tasks and tasks involving the use of unfamiliar formats, methods, and procedures.
You will refer problems not covered by the supervisor’s instructions or guides to the supervisor for help or a decision.
