Job Description:

You will serve as a RANGE OPERATIONS ASSISTANT in the Navy Region Mid-Atlantic (NRMA) Force Protection Team of NAVAL WEAPONS STATION EARLE SECURITY DETACHMENT.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing support in the areas of safety, security, and training for all small arms, ammunition, and explosives for a training facility; 2) Providing small arms range operation support including scheduling, hazardous waste management and small arms range maintenance/cleaning; 3) Instructing, evaluating and/or facilitating training in the use of small arms, ammunition and explosives; 4) Storing, transporting, inspecting and/or maintaining arms, ammunition and explosives in accordance with established procedures and regulations. You will extract and compile information to create weekly, monthly, and annual reports.
You will monitor, coordinate, and report training requirements for assigned staff.
You will monitor assigned weapons to ensure accountability.
