This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing assistance regarding personal property and passport agent responsibilities to include; informing customers of entitlements and regulations pertaining to personal property; screening and verifying documents to process passport applications and visa requests. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
You will be responsible for conducting group or individual counseling sessions and accurately inform applicants of entitlements IAW Joint Federal Travel Regulations/Joint Travel Regulation (JFTR/JTF).
You will research the JFTR/JTR and other regulations to determine the proper entitlements of military personnel, their dependents, and/or civilian employees shipment of household goods.
You will be responsible for military personnel, their dependents, and/or civilian employees in connection with domestic and international shipment, deliver, storage, diversion, and shipment of household goods.
You will interpret and advise on the intent, coverage, and content of instructions, guides, precedents, and regulations and recommend or take action relative to entitlements and responsibilities in connection with shipment applications.
