Job Description:

You will serve as a DIRECTOR, OFFICE OF SMALL BUSINESS PROGRAMS in the SMALL BUSINESS DIVISION (LK) of HQ US MARINE CORPS.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Develop, refine, OR recommend small business program policies, procedures, guidance for evaluating, administering, OR enhancing the effectiveness of a small business program; AND Preparing the annual long-range acquisition forecast to include reviewing and coordinating acquisition strategies. You will serve as the principal advisor to the Deputy Commandant on Small Business Programs as codified in statute 15 U.S.C. 631.
You will serve as the authority regarding policies, procedures, and methods related to contracting with small businesses.
You will develop strategic plans, goals, and objectives for the proper execution and management of the Office of Small Business Programs.
You will develop, recommend, and establish policies, procedures, and other guidelines for evaluating and administering an effective Small Business Program.
You will support the annual USMC long range acquisition forecast.
You will oversee and manage the small business portion of the USMC Procurement Performance Management Assessment Program.
