Job Description:
You will serve as a Management and Program Analyst in the Training and Education Requirements Policy Division of PERS WASHINGTON.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Adhering to processes, policies, directives, and other regulatory materials with a focus on planning and program management processes as well as protecting the security of classified material; 2) Utilizing Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) processes; 3) Managing projects and resources while demonstrating knowledge in economics, statistics, and federal programs; and 4) Using computer programs and applications to develop spreadsheets, manage databases, and prepare presentations, graphics, and correspondence. You will derive data supported solutions to complex personnel, manpower, and manning problems.
You will be responsible for identifying long and short-term programming actions required to maintain the MPN appropriations at adequate levels to support programmed end strength.
You will utilize project and research development and other data analysis techniques and will communicate those findings and recommendations to senior leaderships.
You will monitor budget activities and ensure N1 POM issues are defended in a timely manner.
You will perform risk analysis, identify any offsets to support other higher priority funding requirements and/or budgetary drills.
