Job Description:

You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the DEPT OF DEFENSE (U.S. NAVY) of the COMMANDER US FLEET FORCES COMMAND.
For GS-13: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience in analyzing reports related to the Financial Management Certification Program Experience in reporting the most complicated data to Leadership Experience in assessment and problem solving Experience in providing customer service to a broad range of people Experience in researching and interpreting policies, procedures, and regulations For GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. You will maintain the Financial Management Certification program and socialize the program for all US Fleet Forces (USFF) personnel required to become FM Certified.
You will establish/maintain US Fleet Forces participants/supervisors within the Learning Management System (LMS).
You will monitor Budget Submitting Offices (BSOs) wide certification progress and liaise between departments regarding Financial Management certification program execution and issues.
You will develop lessons learned based on evolution of the Financial Management Certification guidance and provide "help desk" support for personnel.
You will monitor the BSOs' Financial management Training continuum, assess training requirements/deficiencies and develop training curricula/programs in response to those deficiencies.
You will review, analyze, and process requests for reimbursement to the Treasury.
You will review and research suspended transactions in various Systems to ensure they are correctly posted to the Department of the Navy financial system of record Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).
You will be responsible for reconciling accounts.
