Job Description:

You will serve as a MANAGEMENT & PROGRAM ANALYST in the JOINT AND RS1 MANPOWER REQUIREMENTS BRANCH (OPNAV N13M3) of PERS WASHINGTON.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector 1) Drafting briefs, point papers, spreadsheets and data analysis; 2) Advising on policies and procedures related to manpower utilization; 3) Supporting military and civilian personnel in managing manpower packages and publications; 4) Appyimg knowledge of manpower and organizational control, theories, principles, and practices governing manpower authorization contributing to the successful outcome of manpower issues, resourcing, and process changes ; 5) Utilizing manpower management systems, such as the Total Force Manpower Management System (TFMMS), Manpower Management System (MMS) etc. to determine manpower authorizations and end strength. You will conduct assessments of positions aligned to RS1, prepare high-level briefs, point papers, spreadsheets, data analysis, and Total Force Manpower Management System (TFMMS) changes.
You will be responsible for coordinating with manpower divisions to advise on policies and procedures related to manpower utilization
You will review manpower change requests for compliance with manpower and personnel policies.
You will ensure a balance between programmed resources and manpower authorizations by reconciling manpower accounting imbalances and/or providing recommendations for appropriate actions.
