This position is located in the Facilities Management Service (FMS) at the VA Eastern Colorado Health Care System (ECHCS), Department of Veterans Affairs comprising of the most diverse and complex level 1a, multi-mission, principle tertiary care facility in VISN 19 servicing more than 100,000 unique veterans spanning across multiple states with an array of extended care services providing 30 long term care bed Community Living Center in Pueblo, regional Polytrauma and Prosthetics Services.

Time-In-Grade Requirement: Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement. Long periods of standing, bending, and stooping is also required to observe and study work operations in project construction areas/sites, confined spaces, use of scaffolding multi-stories tall, mechanical equipment rooms, and other spaces that are noisy, dirty and close quarters, and lifting of light to moderate heavy items weighing less than 50 pounds. Promotion Potential: The selectee may be promoted to the full performance level without further competition when all regulatory, qualification, and performance requirements are met.
