Job Description:
You will serve as a EQUAL EMPLOYMENT MANAGER in the SPECIAL STAFF, EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY PROGRAM, of MCAS BEAUFORT SC.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Develop and manage a variety of Employment Opportunity Programs (EEO), consistently evaluate the programs to see what can be remedied and recommend improvements, develop statistical reports, and advise and host extensive training sessions for the workforce in emphasis on EEO complaint procedures. You will provide advice, guidance, and other assistance to commanding general / officers, management officials, supervisors, EEO committees, employees or applicants on EEO program requirements and processes.
You will manage the EEO informal and formal complaint processes.
You will develop, promote, coordinate, implement, and monitor Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) program initiative with the goal of resolving as many informal and formal EEO complaints as possible.
You will conduct studies of data to identify areas of low participation and initiates action to correct imbalances including developing approaches and methods to improve minority representation within the civilian workforce.
You will ensure that the workforce as well as supervisors and management officials are trained regularly on the legal and regulatory framework of the Federal EEO program and EEO complaint procedures.
