Job Description:

You will serve as a INVENTORY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Inventory Control Department of Naval Medical Readiness Logistics Command.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience in planning, developing, and implementing shelf-life programs, particularly for Type II materials. Experience identifying manufacturer, lot, and expiration information, and in making shelf-life extension recommendations Experience utilizing research tools such as SLES, SLEP, HAYSTACK, and WEBFLIS. Experience performing inventory control procedures, database management, and with multiple logistics systems. Experience understanding material management principles (ex. multiple classes of materials, including pharmaceuticals, hazardous materials, or medical supplies). You will perform work in managing, regulating, coordinating, and inventory control over supplies, equipment, or other material.
You will assist a higher graded specialist in planning, development, and implementation for the shelf-life program.
You will utilize research tools to assist in material identification and to determine extension feasibility/standards.
You will perform database update/analysis to multiple logistics systems in support of inventory and production operations.
