You will serve as a MANAGER in the Customer Advocate (Portfolio Management Office) (0CA) of NAVSURFWARCEN IH DIV. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-06 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to the GS-14 and GS-15.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-05 (GS-13/14 grade equivalency) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing strategic leadership through accepting, managing and execution of technical portfolios to ensure project success involving energetics or energetic systems. You will serve as the Portfolio Manager (PM) at the Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD) within the Portfolio Management Office (Customer Advocate Office).
You will provide leadership and supervision for Portfolio Managers, Technical Project Managers, Program Analysts, and other professional and technical personnel assigned to the Portfolio Directorate.
You will be responsible for the workload acceptance and execution process including customer negotiations, defining tasks, funds allocation to the line departments, progress reporting, and deliverables.
You will act as the principal Command representative to external stakeholders for the coordination and collaboration of projects.
You will perform supervisory responsibilities, such as: assignment of work, technical oversight, development of performance plans, evaluation of work performance, interviewing and hiring.
