Your resume must show that you have the ability to perform common tasks including: Operation and installation of a variety of complete electrical systems and equipment, such as series, parallel, and compound circuits for single and multiple phase alternating current of varying voltage, amperage, and frequency; wiring systems in industrial complexes and in buildings; and power or regulating and control circuits and distribution panels to industrial machinery, ships' control equipment, computers or laboratory and other electrical equipment; Working project objectives proposed by engineers, including planning and laying out the sequence of work from drawings or blueprints which may be incomplete regarding the specific wiring required in the unique application of equipment. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
You will perform repairs, trouble shooting and installations of electrical, electrical-mechanical, interior communication, and other electrical and electronic systems as directed by the supervisor.
You will repair adjust, calibrate, replace and install all components of a steering control system.
You will perform installations, diagnoses complex problems, and repairs, generators, gyros, engines, bilge, and fire alarms, power panels, cables, float switches, bell, lights, pyrometers and other connected equipment.
