Job Description:
You will serve as a CADD AND ENGINEERING APPLICATIONS MANAGER in the Planning, Design, and Construction Directorate of NAVAL FACILITIES ENGINEERING SYSTEMS COMMAND.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing professional IT-related services in support of the delivery of facilities design/construction projects for the Navy, Marine Corps, and other supported commands; 2) Providing subject matter expert-level support for CADD and other engineering applications software utilization, customization and standards development; 3) Planning, organizing and leading project and process improvement teams to develop new approaches to engineering-related IT processes and tools, as well as to establish and maintain performance quality levels; and 4) Serving as a recognized expert in Command computer systems and software such as ieFACMAN, eProjects, eCMS interface, Microsoft Patches, SSDs & RAM, Cloud-based solutions, Autodesk software, Microsoft Office, and cost estimating software. You will serve as the CIBL's champion for CADD and Engineering Applications, working closely with HQ senior CIBL Leaders and the Regional CADD and Engineering Application Managers (CEAMs) at ECH III Commands.
You will establish CIBL hardware and software requirements and coordinate with HQ Command Information Office (CIO) as needed.
You will be accountable for CIBL compliance with IT policy and processes.
You will provide computer seat management for NMCI Science and Technology assets, to include coordinating with ECH III and IV on tracking Science and Technology resources, implementation, additions and subtractions, and associated funding.
You will develop CIBL corporate budgets for related software, hardware, or infrastructure and track progress on solutions related to IT applications and infrastructure needed to deliver CI products and services.
You will lead the CI IT Configuration Control Board (CCB), manage the NAVFAC HQ CI IT portfolio, and serve as the HQ champion for the Electronic Design Deliverables Working Group (EDDWG).
You will manage CI software enterprise licensing for engineering design software and provide support to the engineering design applications portfolio managers
You will research, investigate, develop, implement and manage related standards (e.g. CADD standards, FIM/BIM standards, etc.) including coordination with Department of Defense (DoD) standards/agencies.
