Job Description:
You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (LER) in the COMMANDER NAVY INSTALLATIONS COMMAND (CNIC) of HDQTRS NDW.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Provide authoritative advice and assistance to the Director of Human Resources and serviced organizations/activities on complex agency matters related to conduct, performance, attendance, and dispute resolution. 2) Develops, prepares and present in-house training for managers and personnel liaison POCs on a variety of HR systems and applications. You will answer customer questions regarding employee benefits (e.g., retirement, health benefits, life insurance).
You will advise managers on legal requirements for resolving employee relations matters.
You will advise managers on unfair labor practices and grievances.
You will create guides and handouts for human resources training.
You will develop alternative solutions to resolve conflicts in achieving human resources goals and objectives.
You will brief managers on employee relations program management.
