THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a ESGR PROGRAM COORDINATOR (TITLE 32), Position Description Number D1709000 and is part of the NCNG PAO, National Guard. (JFHQNC-PAO/Manning doc: 1212-408) POSITION MAY BE SUBJECT TO NIGHT SHIFT WORK ADDITIONAL TO WEEKENDS.
Military Grades: Enlisted (E7 to E8) or Officer (2LT-MAJ) GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience, education, or training which provided a general knowledge of principles of organization, management, and administration. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have at least 36 months experience, education or training in program or managerial experience in a type of work or a combination of functions directly related to the position to be filled or in comparable work or functions. Experience developing and recommending policy; organizing and carrying out specific programs, evaluating and recommending changes in methods of operations. Experience in supervisory, staff or technical work which included study, analysis or evaluation leading to the development or improvement of managerial or administrative policies, practices and procedures. Experience preparing written communications and oral presentations. Experience in managing the function of the work to be performed. Experience which includes leading, directing and assigning work of personnel.
AS an ESGR PROGRAM COORDINATOR, GS-0301-11 , you will provide assistance to the state ESGR Committee Chair, as required; work with all levels of RC military leadership in the state to identify and articulate concerns relating to employer support issues; develop, institute and provide management and administrative support to the State ESGR Committee; coordinate with all of the RCs in the state to schedule ESGR volunteers to support all mobilization and demobilization actions in the state; assist and provides administrative support to the volunteer service component of the ESGR program, to include assisting in recruiting, training and mentoring State Committee members, providing special emphasis to the recruiting and training of sufficient employer Out Reach and Ombudsmen volunteers; the handling, processing and approving all civilian public requests for NCNG participation in local events, static displays or projects; facilitate, manage and support all brigade and above ceremonies and other events as directed and facilitate all mobilization and demobilization ceremonies; primary point of contact for NCNG protocol; facilitate the Civil-Military Innovative Readiness Training (CMIRT) program; Conduct a weekly meeting with TAG-XO for synchronization and situational awareness on community events; coordinates with PAO-Media Relations. POSITION MAY BE SUBJECT TO NIGHT SHIFT WORK ADDITIONAL TO WEEKENDS.
