Job Description:

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the Expeditionary Warfare Weapons & Energy Systems Department (JX), Experimentation and Assessment Division (JXR), Strategic Munitions and Materials Analysis Branch (JXRL), Project Execution and Futures Section (JXRLL) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-05 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to the GS-13 and GS-14.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 grade equivalency) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing and evaluating explosive materials or munitions project requirements to develop, plan and execute project schedule, milestones and deliverables for the efficiency and execution of program operations. You will serve as an active participant in the processes and tasking of the section while also providing first line supervisor administrative duties for section personnel and processes.
You will provide program management in the oversite and review of numerous sections projects.
You will develop, administer, and sustain processes to aid project management and adherence to compliance areas of quality, safety an inventory management.
You will oversee operations related to explosive handling and test, material handling and transportation, and utilization of mechanic and electrical special test equipment.
You will lead recruiting, development, and retention of personnel talent to support mission requirements.
You will lead, as well as be an executing member of, a team of personnel that coordinate ordnance testing per program office requirements amongst several work centers utilizing various procedures and quality processes.
You will be responsible for future program planning, current test execution and logistics, test reporting and retention of test data as well as disposition of test hardware.
