Job Description:

You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the Corporate Operations Department (10) of NAVSURFWARCEN IH DIV. The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions. This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $156,755).
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service, military, or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying security technical methods, policies, regulations, and procedures to provide advice and guidance on security program areas for ensuring compliance with special access programs and sensitive compartmented information requirements. You will be responsible for the full spectrum of security operations supporting highly sensitive and compartmented programs that are critical to national defense.
You will serve as the principal advisor on Special Access Program security matters and is responsible for establishing, implementing, and maintaining robust security procedures across personnel, physical, information, and industrial disciplines.
You will manage and process Special Access Program access nominations, conducting indoctrinations and debriefings, monitoring eligibility and clearance status, and maintaining personnel access records in accordance with guidelines.
You will conduct internal security reviews, develop corrective actions, and ensure continuous compliance with oversight audits and inspections.
You will develop and deliver tailored Special Access Program security training and promote a strong culture of operational security and compliance among program personnel.
You will ensure a legal review is conducted whenever a reasonable person would believe that the intelligence or intelligence-related activity may be contrary to federal law, Intelligence Community directives, and Department issuances.
