Job Description:
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY SECURITY SPECIALIST in the NAVY REGION SOUTHEAST (CNRSE) N3 OPERATIONS of NAS KEY WEST SEC DET.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Experience with planning, establishing, monitoring, maintaining, and managing a comprehensive force protection program and the security operations for the installation security department; 2) Collaborating with security staff personnel for issues to include manning, training, equipment, operations, and pay/personnel; 3) Working with HRO representatives on personnel actions and issues not resolved at lower levels or those requiring higher level decisions. You will analyze and evaluate security operations to identify risks or opportunities for improvement.
You will brief management on recommended actions to correct program deficiencies or problem areas.
You will develop policies and procedures for the operation of a security program to meet organizational requirements.
You will conduct physical and information technology security training to educate personnel on security requirements to prevent issues.
You will communicate security policies and standards for command compliance with security regulations and standards.
You will formulate written responses to justify modifications to security programs.
