To qualify for a Business Cycle Integration Analyst (Financial) your resume and supporting documentation must support: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-13 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes: Serves as subject matter expert for the General Equipment, Environmental Liabilities and Real Property sub-processes and related sub-processes; capable of assessing applicable end-to-end processes and their associated internal controls. Assists managers in the identification of key controls requiring evaluation; and facilitates meetings to address material weaknesses and audit readiness internal control issues and validation of corrective action plans. Demonstrates experience with process cycle memorandums (PCM) that they are properly documented, regularly maintained, and follow applicable laws/policies/regulations. Supports auditor requests for management responses to Notice of Findings and Recommendations (NFR) and aggressive implementation of corrective action plans associated with audit deficiencies. Financial advisor to management for the status of essential requirements and actions to achieve auditability with annual Financial Statements. Monitoring, analyzing, reporting, and assessing interrelated issues of effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of the Internal Control program and how it integrates with Audit Readiness. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Serves as a Senior Analyst responsible for performing non-engineering financial analyst duties including Business Cycle Integration and Field Assistance Support.
Ensures timely responses to auditor requests and aggressive implementation of corrective action plans associated with audit deficiencies.
Participates in the continuing analysis of essential plans, actions and accomplishments of DLA Installation Support headquarters and field sites to achieve compliance with the Federal Managers Financial Integrity Act, OMB Circular A-123, and so on.
Assists in the training and hands-on assistance in preparation to meet DLA and DoD goals to successfully achieve an unqualified audit opinion for financial statements.
Supports and assists the Enterprise Business Cycle Owner in correcting audit impediments and documenting corrective actions through a standard plan of action and milestones (POAM) development process.
