Your 2-page resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional engineer providing technical advice, guidance, or direction to identify issues and recommend solutions related to ship systems and equipment for ensuring the adequacy, accuracy and timely execution of complex projects. You will conduct engineering studies of assigned work to determine overall requirements such as component size and capability, arrangement, special material, and work involvement of other codes.
You will prepare or direct the preparation of engineering drawings, calculations, specifications or other engineering products in support of Navy or other customer requirements.
You will provide services to accomplish troubleshooting, analyzing and resolving technical, administrative and scheduling problems related to assigned work.
You will ensure the timely, technically accurate execution of complex design projects, document or drawing development or planning projects.
