As a Supervisory National Bank Examiner or Supervisory Bank Examiner, you will manage the operations of the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC) (Council) consistent with the goals, priorities, and guidance of Council members. You must meet the following requirements within 30 calendar days after the closing date of this announcement: You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the NB-VI band level. Examples of specialized experience for this position include: Experience leading people in completing projects, developing/delivering training, and evaluating financial institution performance and compliance with regulations during financial regulatory work. The experience may have been gained in the public sector, private sector, or through volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. As a Supervisory National Bank Examiner or Supervisory Bank Examiner and Executive Secretary for the FFIEC, you will: Facilitate effective collaboration among the Council, agency liaisons, task forces, state liaison representatives, and other key stakeholders involved in Council deliberations. Monitor, evaluate, and report on progress toward the Council's annual goals, providing insights to guide decision making. Lead efforts to define and shape the Council's culture and values, ensure alignment with organizational strategy and priorities and lead change management efforts. Maintain responsibility over facilitating the Council's interagency examiner training program including ensuring it is managed in alignment with the needs and priorities of the Council and member entities, as outlined by the Task Force on Examiner Education and the Council. Develop, monitor, and report on the Council's budget. Oversee the drafting of and disseminating the Council's Annual Report, highlighting key initiatives, outcomes, and progress. Maintain responsibility for the general oversight and management of FFIEC and Examiner Education Office staff, to include, managing, motivating, developing and leading members of the FFIEC staff; maintaining accurate position descriptions; and establishing performance standards and evaluating the performance of staff.
