Job Description:

You will serve as a Site Security Manager in the SECURITY DIVISION of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. The Secretary of Defense has ordered a department-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the DoD hiring freeze. Offers of employment related to this vacancy announcement will not be executed until the position has an approved exemption.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-03 (GS-09/10 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: utilizing security equipment, devices, and systems to develop security plans and implement protective methods and security procedures in accordance with Physical Security, Personnel Security, Information Security, Operations Security, Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection (ATFP), Insider Threat, and Security Education, Training, and Awareness (SETA) procedures and regulations. You will manage multiple security disciplines including physical security, antiterrorism/force protection, information security, operations security, personnel security, insider threat, and security education, training, and awareness.
You will provide technical assistance, guidance, and oversight for all security disciplines at the site.
You will analyze security needs, plan, and direct implementation of security measures such as security or safety systems.
You will develop and establish security procedures for the site for the protection of individuals, groups, and property.
You will plan, schedule, coordinate, implement, and monitor the effectiveness of the operation of the security programs.
