Job Description:
You will serve as an OPS SPECIALIST in the SENSOR DATA EXPLOITATION DIVISION, ELECTROMAGNETIC & SENSOR SYSTEMS DEPARTMENT of NAVSURFWARCENDLD. The Sensor Data Exploitation Division is a multi-faceted group who actively engages with the United States Navy fleet in reachback support to provide feedback regarding ship performance, event reconstruction, and tactical recommendations.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 pay band (GS-11/12 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing technical electronics expertise and guidance to lead engineering projects, provide engineering support, or resolve technical issues associated with the testing and evaluation of naval shipboard weapons systems. Examples of qualifying experience include: planning, leading, and executing AEGIS sensor and weapon trade studies and performance analyses; deriving sensor mission requirements; developing system and subsystem test requirements and analysis products; etc.. You will monitor real-time status of the deployed AEGIS fleet and provide live support to the warfighter.
You will provide test planning, test execution, and post-test analysis at component and subsystem levels with a multi-disciplinary team.
You will plan, lead, and execute sensor and weapon trade studies and performance analyses, derive sensor mission requirements, and develop system and subsystem test requirements and analysis products.
You will execute, oversee, and manage data collection efforts, including testing, analysis, and troubleshooting of critical technology.
You will accurately and effectively communicate with the deployed fleet
You will work closely with mission planners and data analysts to provide real-time support and event reconstruction.
