JOB DEFINITION: The Peer Specialist functions as a member function as a member of the Street Outreach Team to serve individuals experiencing homelessness located in and around Long Island Railroad (LIRR) stations across Nassau County. Advocates for and supports the client, engages with community agencies/health care. Peer Specialist will serve as a role model and/or health coach for clients.
