Job Description:

You will serve as a PRODUCTION CONTROLLER (SHIPS) in Code 300.2, the Execution Division of the Operations Department of PSNS and IMF.
For GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Applying production control methods and procedures to analyze production project data and processes (e.g., schedule, cost) and prepare reports of findings for ship or submarine repair or overhaul projects. For GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Applying production control methods and procedures to observe and analyze production operations and resources (e.g., labor, equipment/machines, materials) and determine the causes of production delays and the effectiveness of cost controls for ship or submarine repair or overhaul projects. You will work as a member of the Project Team providing support with data and reports.
You will review, analyze and monitor an availability's cost and schedule data and verify data through communication with project managers.
You will prepare cost and schedule reports.
You will develop reports and make recommendations for correction of specific performance issues.
