Job Description:

You will serve as an IT CYBERSECURITY SPECIALIST in the Cyber/C4 (Command, Control, Communication, Computers and Intelligence Systems) division of PEO UNDERSEA WARFARE SYSTEMS.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-02 pay band (GS-11 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Analyzing risk or vulnerability assessments for information systems to develop policies and procedures for cybersecurity warfare systems. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving. You will develop and implement policies, program plans, and procedures to address cybersecurity for warfare systems.
You will apply advanced information technology, cybersecurity, and policy planning principles, concepts, and methods to provide technical expertise to command-wide management and IT specialist on critical IT issues.
You will conduct audits and reviews of IT systems, programs, and projects for the assigned portfolio through review of information system scan results, audit logs and reports delivered to leadership.
You will prevent and defend against unauthorized access to systems, networks, and data and guard the organizations unmanned system IT infrastructure, networks, and data from cybersecurity incidents.
You will evaluate Federal IT security programs over the computers, networks, systems and applications for the assigned portfolio.
You will conduct risk and vulnerability assessments of assigned programs/information systems to identify vulnerabilities, risks, and protections needs.
You will provide IT related policy guidance to management, staff, and customers.
