Job Description:

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY INTERDISCIPLINARY NUCLEAR ENGINEER OR HEALTH PHYSICIST in the RADIOLOGICAL SUPPORT DIVISION of PSNS and IMF.
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-12) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: professional Engineer or Health Physicist evaluating and developing training processes and qualifying engineers and/or technicians on radiological requirements and programs, assigning work, and resolving issues in order to accomplish nuclear work on Naval vessels. You will exercise technical and administrative supervision and administer the Radiation Worker Training Program.
You will be responsible for accurate and complete content for all training courses, seminars, drills, lectures and techniques taught by the branch.
You will evaluate and develop training processes, train and qualify engineers and/or technicians on radiological requirements and programs.
You will ensure the overall efficiency and technical accuracy of all training programs for the Radiation Worker Training Branch.
You will identify and resolve technical and administrative radiological training problems.
