This position is located at Intramural Sports and Fitness. This program offers broad-based team and individual sports that promote group participation with a wide appeal, such as softball, volleyball, flag football, basketball, and soccer and builds readiness and resiliency through friendly competition. A qualified candidate must possess the following: Work experience or education directly related to the duties to be performed. In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who posses the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or " Best Qualified" and be referred to management first. If no selection is made from that applicant list, all other minimally qualified candidates will be referred for consideration. Previous experience with an Intramural or Sports Program, Community Leagues and Tournaments.
Supervises a staff of 3-12 employees, assigns and reviews work assignments, approves leave, completes performance ratings and provides training.
Plan, conduct, publicize and arrange support for events, tournaments and related functions.
Operate mowers and trimmers. Inventory and perform minor maintenance on equipment.
Supports activities and services of the athletics and Intramural Sport Program.
Get fields and courts ready for competition and monitor the competition.
Interacts with patrons and provides customer service.
