The Postal Regulatory Commission has an exciting employment opportunity for a highly motivated person with empirical skills and interest as a Data Analyst (Financial).
Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, statistics, or related field. 10 years of experience in financial analysis or data analytics. Proficiency in financial modeling and data visualization tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, etc.). Experience with SQL and data querying is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and presentation abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities. The incumbent must have the capability to maximize the use of products like Microsoft 365, Power BI, Power Automate, SharePoint, Qlik, and other such applications as well as understand the needed structure and flow of financial data. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Provide data analysis and visualization support to the Senior Financial Data Manager. Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights that support strategic decision-making. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial performance, optimize forecasting models, and enhance reporting accuracy. Serves as the administrator internal financial management system. Collect, analyze, and interpret financial data from multiple sources. Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting and forecasting. Identify trends and provide insights to drive business strategy. Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders. Collaborate with teams to streamline data collection and reporting processes. Ensure data integrity and compliance with industry standards. Monitor key performance indicators and provide data driven recommendations. Ensure financial data is auditable and accessible. Collaborate with the Commission's Chief Data Officer to establish and maintain financial data in a secure environment.
