Job Description:

You will serve as a PRODUCTION SUPERINTENDENT (WOOD & MATERIAL CRAFTING TRADES) in the PRODUCTION RESOURCES DEPARTMENT of PSNS and IMF.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following. overseeing the operations of the wood and material crafting trade by supporting the planning and production principles of ship system overhaul, repair, or conversion projects within a shipyard environment. You will be responsible for the administration of policies, programs, and funds while integrating technical process factors required to successfully accomplish mission objectives.
You will coordinate through subordinate supervisors and collaborate with other Production Superintendents in order to sustain the operations of trades and craft work necessary to support required repair and maintenance functions.
You will oversee a wide range of wood and material crafting trades operations.
You will be accountable to superiors for the quality, quantity, effectiveness, and suitability of production processes.
You will organize, coordinate, prioritize, and direct subordinates in accomplishment of workforce development activities.
You will manage and direct the Continuing Training and Development Managers (CTDMs) within the trades.
You will provide both administrative and technical supervision for all wood craft trades employees.
