Job Description:
You will serve as an Information Technology Specialist (INFOSEC) in the Cyber Security Division for the IT Services Department of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience utilizing contemporary computer hardware and software as it relates to training administration, design, delivery, and evaluation. Experience serving as a resource consultant and advisor to program administrators and training personnel presenting complex IT issues to non-technical personnel. Experience developing a substantial amount of background and source information and produce original materials incorporating different developments or approaches. Experience and expertise utilizing the Total Workforce Management Services (TWMS) system Experience with thorough knowledge of computer software essential to the completion of work assignments such as MS Word and Excel. You will track all Cyber IT/Cybersecurity personnel for proper education, development needs, training and qualifications.
You will develop, implement and maintain the command cyber-IT/CSWF Management and Qualification Plan (CSWFQP).
You will coordinate different venues available to train, educate and develop the workforce from a variety of agencies and organizations.
You will ensure current and future contract Statement of Works (SOW) or Performance Work Statement (PWS) have sufficient language that requires contractor personnel to meet appointment, qualification, and investigation requirements.
