You Are:
We are seeking an experienced Sales Director to join our growing Data & AI asset team. As our clients seek to adopt and scale Agentic AI, new AI-enabled digital data mesh and semantic knowledge layer capabilities are required to deliver contextual reasoning, meaning-driven search, LLM and natural language integration and agentic framework connectivity to power Agents and external systems. Accenture is investing in core capabilities and industry domain-specific data & AI assets to accelerate client value.
Our Sales Director will drive client engagement, pipeline development and conversion, client demos and deep-dives, solutioning and all aspects of sales origination and management to bring Knowledge and adjacent solutions to clients.
The Work:
Own the sales plan and meet and exceed sales targets for APP’s Knowledge Layer asset, working across industries (initial focus on Life Sciences, Banking/Finance, Telecom, Consumer Goods) to sell asset-based solutions, cloud services and professional services.
Learn Data & AI Architecture and AI-enabled digital core fundamentals to originate and engage with clients in this rapidly growing and emerging-tech space, including GraphRAG, generative AI, semantic knowledge graphs, mesh architecture and agentic AI integration.
Plan Go-to-Market Strategy and gain buy-in and align accountability with internal and channel stakeholders.
Proactively manage sales campaigns, leveraging domain expertise to close opportunities and grow profitable revenue. Assure activities to drive top of funnel are sufficient to drive conversion and close to meet/exceed sales plan.
Cultivate relationships with C-level, IT leaders, and business stakeholders to position software as key to unlocking value and enable transformation.
Build trust with prospects and clients, identify challenges, and offer tailored solutions.
Collaborate with Pre-Sales, Product Management, Professional Services and Engineering teams to ensure client needs are met and sales origination and pursuits are successful, and feedback loops are engaged/active – culture of continuous improvement on product value.
Engage with Ecosystem partners to align sales messages, resources and shared opportunities (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.).
Stay informed about emerging trends within market segments, ecosystem and technologies, competitive landscape, and regulatory requirements.
Travel may be required for this role, ranging from 25% to 75%, depending on client needs and business priorities.
