Job Description:

You will serve as a ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the Strategic Microelectronics Division (GXM), Global Deterrence & Defense Dept (GX), Business Operations Branch (GXMB) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-04 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to the GS-11 and GS-12.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower band, NT-03 (GS-09/10 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: performing facilities manager duties including reporting issues, coordinating building upgrades, safety and fire warden duties, and research facilities upgrades for an organization. You will support multiple divisions and department entities in GX spaces with: Entering of Archibus tickets for building issue as they arise.
You will coordinate with Crane Facilities/NAVFAC for maintenance and repair of department spaces and infrastructure to include various buildings.
You will work with vendors to obtain quotes on facilities projects as needed.
You will maintain building maps and seating charts as well as process and track move requests.
You will assist with safety audits to improve occupational safety in workspaces and labs.
You will perform fire warden duties including coordination of fire drills.
You will Identify and monitor deficiencies to ensure safety standards are met.
You will analyze trends in safety and facility issues.
