Specialized Experience Statement: : For this position, specialized experience is at least one year of experience, equivalent in responsibility to the GS-13 level in the federal service, performing staffing and placement functions under delegated examining and merit promotion procedure. Selective Placement Factor: Candidates must currently possess a Delegated Examining (DE) certification and must maintain their certification throughout the duration of their employment with NGA. Candidates MUST provide a copy of their current DE certification in their application package. Candidates who do not currently possess a DE certification or fail to provide a copy of their current certification in their application package will be screened out. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
