Job Description:

You will serve as a HOUSING MANAGER in the Navy Installations Command (CNIC), Housing Division N93 of NAVBASE KITSAP SILVERDALE WA.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Conducting inspections of housing facilities to evaluate the cleanliness, maintenance and habitability of the unit, furnishings, and equipment; 2) Applying applicable federal, command, and local policy to housing management (i.e. assignment, inspections, maintenance, cleanliness, etc.); 3) Counseling service members on the availability, type, and size of quarters available; and 4) Planning work assignments based on priorities and staff capabilities. You will manage unaccompanied housing operations by creating guidelines, conducting inspections, and addressing maintenance/cleanliness issues to ensure quality living conditions.
You will develop and implement improvements to unaccompanied housing facilities, justify resource requests (funds, personnel, materials), and ensure compliance with safety standards.
You will serve as a liaison with residents, community groups, and housing providers to address concerns, resolve disputes, and maximize housing options.
You will lead a team by planning work, providing training, evaluating performance, and fostering professional development.
You will track work progress, solve problems, manage records, and communicate team needs to your supervisor.
