Job Description:
You will serve as a HOUSING MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Housing Program (N93) of COMMANDER, NAVY REGION NORTHWEST.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Apply housing policies, requirements, and procedures for broad management planning; 2) Apply regulations to the eligibility for training requirements and monitoring compliance with housing program policies; 3) Follow procedures within the financial organization structure for the execution of appropriated funds; 4) Analyze housing issues or studies concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of Housing Program operations. You will analyze functions, procedures, resources, and synthesizes information into recommendations to achieve efficiency, continuity and economy of operations.
You will conduct studies by collecting data on quality, cost and capacity utilization to create metrics for tracking overall housing and lodging management.
You will foster good relationships with the local community to assist with planning and local community housing placement.
You will determine suitability of lodging facility based on standards, inspections, history, and analysis.
