This position is located at: Fort Campbell, KY Auto Skills - Air Assault Auto. This position is eligible for the NAF benefits package and leave accrual. A qualified candidate must possess the following: Experience in inventory control, retail sales and cash register operations. Working knowledge of sales inventory is desirable. In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": Previous work experience in an automotive store or automotive servicing shop. **Applicants that meet the Highly Preferred criteria will be referred to management for consideration first. Responsible for overall operations of sales store. Makes available to patrons all resale merchandise in store. Greet customers and assign them to the correct bay based on planned activity.
Prices all merchandise. Monitors stock levels. Orders and receives merchandise. Correctly record cost of services, goods or equipment used in Rec Trac when customer has finished using facility.
Provides assistance to patrons in selection of goods or substitute materials. Records sales on cash register and makes change. Assists in monthly inventory. Assist with abandoned vehicle auctions as directed.
Prepares documents associated with ordering and receiving merchandise and daily cash reporting in accordance with established procedures. May direct the work of other employees.
Keep work area tools organized and clean. Performs other duties as assigned.
