Job Description:

You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the Financial Management Division of NAVAL FAC ENGINEERING CMD WASH. Salary Range for GS-11: $84,601 - $109,975 Salary Range for GS-12: $101,401 - $131,826
(GS-12) Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-11) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Making financial decisions based on financial analysis, research, forecasting, and planning; 2) Working with accounting systems, and or developing, determining, and interpreting budget policies and procedures; 3) Ensuring financial principles are in compliance with FIAR and auditable mandates; and 4) Collaborating with internal departments and outside agencies to achieve financial goals. (GS-11) Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-09) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing financial analysis, research, and forecasting to produce financial information; 2) Reviewing budgets for accordance with appropriation laws and financial regulations; and 3) Receiving guidance from a senior analyst and/or supervisor who provides specific instructions on the methods to follow and the results expected in terms of the form and content of finished. You will have comprehensive, detailed knowledge and understanding of budgetary policies, precedents, procedures, and regulations.
You will have detailed intensive knowledge of policies, precedents, goals, objectives, regulations, and guidelines of a functional area.
You will have Intensive knowledge of administrative and financial management systems.
You will have skill in identifying, analyzing and resolving a range of budgetary problems such as development of alternative methods of funding.
You will have skill in formulation of budget estimates for programs in which funding requirements have changed significantly.
You will have a high degree of skill in analytical reasoning, ability to apply skill to the identification, analysis and conceptualization of budgetary problems and development of alternative solutions is required.
