Job Description:

You will serve as a Financial Management Analyst for the Defense Travel Program (DTS) in the Budget Servicing Office Headquarters of COMMANDER US PACIFIC FLEET.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: working with budget and accounting coding structures utilized by a variety of financial systems, development and interpretation of governmental and commercial accounting principles, policies, guidance, procedures, financial analysis and/or reporting. You will serve as an Agency Program Coordinator (APC) for a charge card program at the Budget Submitting Office (BSO) level, servicing ~120,000 travelers.
You will administer the Defense Travel System (DTS) and assign roles and permission levels.
You will analyze and review transactions to verify accuracy and completeness, ensuring compliance with regulations, policies, and laws.
You will develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), disseminate them to subordinate commands, and provide support during implementation.
You will use accounting and interfaced systems to query data and generate management reports.
You will be responsible for monitoring reports and resolving charge card delinquency, misuse, and/or fraud.
