The primary purpose of this position, Priority Requirements Specialist NH-0301-02, is to ensure that proper actions are initiated and monitored to completion on all high priority requirements generated after or carried over from normal duty hours to include special workloads and projects that involve support for/from other Groups and Commands.
Experience requirements are described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions. Due to the use of 120-day rosters, this period of experience may be completed within 120 days of the closing date of this announcement. GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Applicants must withing 120 days of the closing of this announcement will have, at least 3 years of general experience with at least 1 year Federal experience at the next lower grade (GS-04) level, pay band (NH-01), or equivalent (pay schedule, pay band, etc.) and is described in detail in my resume. General experience is described as applying critical thinking in identifying, analyzing, and solving complex issues; using a variety of approaches to resolve or collaborate on projects/program issues; and/or effectively accomplish projects/programs goals within established resource guidelines. OR EDUCATION: Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in any field leading to a bachelor's degree, in an accredited college or university. NOTE: You must submit a copy of your transcripts. OR COMBINATION OF EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: I have equivalent combinations of successfully completed 2 academic years of post-high school study or associate's degree and general experience directly related to the work of the position as outlined above that meets the requirements of the position. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: General knowledge of Aircraft Maintenance Groups 'organizations' functions and processes. Ability to screen, interpret, and analyze incoming information for recording and reporting to all levels of management. Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, and internet awareness. Ability to work alone and make decisions independently. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in writing. PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week. VOLUNTEER WORK EXPERIENCE: Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge and skills that can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
After normal duty hours, has the authority to act for the Commander in any emergency until relieved by other competent authority. Coordinate mission requirements when required to satisfy emergency or logistical needs. Is the single point of contact for the Hill Consolidated Command Post. Promote safety and health in the workplace through awareness and compliance with safety rules, regulations and best practices.
