Job Description:

You will serve as a PROGRAM MANAGER in the Program Executive Office of PEO UNMANNED AND SMALL COMBATANTS. This position is part of the Department of Defense Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project. The NH-4 broadband level encompasses positions equivalent to GS-14 and GS-15.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band, NH-03 (GS-13 equivalency) or grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector managing the development or implementation of acquisition life cycle strategies for a ship, submarine, carrier, ship system, or weapon system. You will serve as Principal Assistant Program Manager for the assigned acquisition life cycle program, providing overall direction and guidance for the program organization, administration, and civilian personnel.
You will establish work assignments to be accomplished by employees in the program, setting priorities, preparing schedules, and ensuring timely performance of satisfactory work efforts.
You will forecast and manage workload for the program office or functional area.
You will design acquisition strategy and program baselines.
You will direct acquisition life cycle activities and all efforts associated with program office or function areas through subordinate managers and teams.
You will oversee the identification of resource requirements and development of strategies for program plans, budgeting, and execution (PPBE).
