This position is located in the Division of Resolutions and Receiverships, Resolution Risk Analysis section of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and provides support in the areas of operations of the Monitoring and Resolution Coordination: Community Bank (M&RC: CB) group. Specialized experience is defined as: Experience identifying and monitoring resolution risk and performs financial and operational analyses and work related to insured depository institutions. Monitors resolution risk in a portfolio of problem, large, and otherwise complex institutions to identify potential issues and obstacles related to resolution and receivership. Prepares reports and presentations of resolution risks for problem, large, and otherwise complex institutions and large and complex banks. Supports the coordination of pre-closing logistical issues between RMS and DCP such as the download request, access to the bank and to RMS examiners by the Information Package and Asset Valuation Review Team, RMS’s participation in information sharing meetings and working with RMS on obtaining needed resolutions and closing staff. Plans and participates in, and/or facilitates training and outreach initiatives by participating as a speaker at regulatory and other bank supervision stakeholder outreach events, including FDIC Risk Management Supervision and Division of Consumer Protection conferences and Field Office meetings and those hosted by external bank regulatory agencies. Develop, evaluate, and implement policies and procedures related to identifying and monitoring financial institution operational and balance sheet complexity and resolution risk.
