To qualify for a Strategy and Integration Analyst, your resume and supporting documentation must support: A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-14 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes: Identifies, quantifies, and analyzes potential opportunities and vulnerabilities warranting revisions or other strategic attention, and recommends appropriate action. Researching and analyzing strategic initiatives, Agency performance metrics, business strategies, and other key data and information. Organizes information to compose, prepare, guide and/or edit major products, briefings, speeches, interviews, letters, memoranda, and other means of communications which incorporate statements of agency plans, policies, commitments, and initiatives. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Serves as a staff advisor and team member of the Directors Action Group, responsible for high-level briefings, products, presentations, and communications to support critical and time-sensitive strategic, operational, and tactical customer matters.
Planner and integrator of material received from disparate sources within and outside of Logistics Operations for presentation to senior DLA leaders, including the DLA Director.
Plans and produces material for external and internal stakeholders, including the Military Services, Combatant Commanders, and the Office of the Secretary of War.
Develops strategic communications plans and materials, leveraging communications conduits and emerging technologies to effectively communicate DLA services and capabilities to strategic customers, senior industry officials, and stakeholders.
Responds to senior leadership with carefully researched, integrated, and coordinated information contributing to overall DLA strategies at the senior Office of the Secretary of War officials, customers, and Logistics Operations employees.
Combines broad awareness of logistics activities, strongly written and oral communications skills, the ability to think strategically, operate tactically, and the ability to lead projects with minimal supervision.
Provides written communications and information packages to prepare Senior Leader engagements; briefs and represents DLA Logistics Operations leadership in obtaining information across the Enterprise.
