Job Summary The Cloud Data Platform & Integration Architect is responsible for designing scalable, cloud-agnostic enterprise data platforms and reusable integration patterns. This role defines end-to-end architecture for data ingestion, transformation, movement, and interoperability across analytical and operational ecosystems. The architect partners closely with engineering, governance, and domain teams to deliver secure, governed, and high-performing data solutions that support enterprise data strategy and AI readiness. Major Responsibilities Architect cloud-native data platforms (lakehouse, warehouse, streaming, ingestion services). Develop enterprise integration patterns (ETL/ELT, CDC, APIs, event streaming, virtualization). Create reusable reference architectures, onboarding templates, and platform design guidelines. Partner with cloud engineering to define capability roadmaps and platform guardrails. Enable domain teams with best practices on ingestion, modeling, and data product onboarding. Ensure platform designs meet enterprise governance, metadata, lineage, and security standards. Support modernization and migration accelerators. Conduct architecture reviews and support delivery teams through design cycles. Evaluate emerging platform technologies and recommend improvements for scalability and reliability. Mandatory Qualifications 8–12+ years in data architecture, platform engineering, cloud engineering or integration architecture. Hands-on expertise in AWS/Azure/GCP data services (multi-cloud or cloud-agnostic architecture). Strong experience with ETL/ELT pipelines, CDC, API integration, and event streaming systems. Deep understanding of batch, streaming, and real-time data integration patterns. Working knowledge of data modeling, metadata patterns, and lineage standards. Proven ability to translate business requirements into data architecture designs. Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills. Good to Have Experience with lakehouse frameworks (Databricks, Snowflake). Container orchestration or serverless design experience. Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD patterns. Exposure to data mesh or federated data architecture models. Background working with regulated business domains or compliance frameworks. Foundational Skills Clear communication and facilitation. Requirements translation and business engagement. Architectural decision-making and design thinking. Ability to simplify complex platform concepts for non-technical teams. Cross-functional collaboration across engineering, cloud, governance, and delivery. Agile delivery mindset. Education & Certifications Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field. Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP) preferred. Architecture certifications (TOGAF, C4, etc.) are a plus. “Visa sponsorship/support is based on business needs. We do not anticipate providing visa sponsorship/support for this position.” The typical base pay range for this role is between $149k - $180k depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonuses and/or incentive compensation.
