About the Position: The position provides both technical and administrative supervision for the Railroad Maintenance Vehicle Operators, carrying full supervisory authority.

Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of an Railroad Maintenance Vehicle Operator Supervisor without more than normal supervision. Assist with planning and training, provide mentorship with other employees and operate basic railway equipment. I can assist with prioritizing workload, identify training needs, and perform basic railroad maintenance vehicle operations. - Failure to meet this Screen Out Element will result in an ineligible rating. Ability to Lead or Supervise Ability to Operate Safely (Non-motor Vehicles) Ability to Plan and Organize Work Operation of Motor Vehicles Performance Management
Serve as a supervisor over the Railroad Trackage Section to approximately 25 subordinate workers.
Perform full supervisory responsibility overseeing and directing work operations.
Determine the equipment and supplies needed for each work site.
Develop performance requirements and make formal and informal performance appraisals.
Schedule and approval of leave for subordinates.
