About the Position: The position provides both technical and administrative supervision for the Railroad Maintenance Vehicle Operators, carrying full supervisory authority.

Assist with planning and training, provide mentorship with other employees and operate basic railway equipment. Serve as a supervisor over the Railroad Trackage Section to approximately 25 subordinate workers.
Perform full supervisory responsibility overseeing and directing work operations.
Determine the equipment and supplies needed for each work site.
Develop performance requirements and make formal and informal performance appraisals.
Schedule and approval of leave for subordinates.
