Experience: You qualify for the GS-14 grade level if you possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as: Overseeing the overall planning, direction, and timely execution of a program or several program segments Providing technical direction in project management, team building, facilitation, process improvement analysis, and methodology Providing technical advice on strategic issues Implementing quantitative and qualitative methods Utilizing various analytical methodology including but not limited to a wide range of statistical methods and tools, mathematical techniques, and process mapping NOTE: Your resume must explicitly indicate how you meet this requirement, otherwise you will be found ineligible. This position will allow you to use your expertise in managing and overseeing programs which have agency-wide and government-wide impact. You be responsible for the execution of program lines of efforts tied to facilities, fleet and uniforms that directly support front-line operations. This position starts at a salary of $124,531.00 (GS-14, Step 1) to $161,889.00 (GS-14, Step 10). Typical duties include: Providing detailed oversight, at the National level, interpretation of the laws, rules, regulations, and procedures tied to inspectional facilities and associated assets that directly support OFO operations and administration while ensuring compliance with CBP design requirements and confirming that industry authorities provide and maintain an inspectional facility Supporting a program segment that performs professional, technical, and/or administrative services that directly support front-line operations utilizing knowledge of fleet acquisition, facilities life-cycle management, or other mission support functions to provide the necessary solutions to enable accomplishment of CBP's mission Leading complex programs or projects, often cutting across organizational/activity lines, tied to facility construction, fleet life-cycle management, uniform standards looking for opportunities for change, areas to expand, or programs that need further refinement and documentation Defining critical quality factors, process improvements or innovation on key initiatives that result in significant improvements in service delivery, reduced operational unit costs, increased quality, and reduced process cycle time Developing measures to evaluate program effectiveness and makes recommendations for program improvement working senior leadership as a change agent in assuring steps necessary to create business cases within established budgets and time frames GS Salary: Visit this link to view the locality pay tables by geographic area.
