Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes reviewing quality assurance plans and programs of instruction, educational activities, and administrative processes; analyzing quality data to detect unsatisfactory trends or weaknesses in the quality/inspection system; and preparing reports or charts depicting pertinent relationships using statistical methods. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07).
Serve as a key advisor and technical authority on all quality assurance matters pertaining to the Sergeant William R Jecelin Noncommissioned Officer Academy- Hawaii.
Responsible for developing, implementing, and managing a comprehensive quality assurance program.
Conduct evaluations, analyze data, identify areas for improvement, and recommend corrective actions to enhance the overall effectiveness.
Identify areas for improvement in the programs and processes.
Provide guidance and support to faculty on assessment methodologies, instructional effectiveness, and quality assurance processes.
