Job Description:
You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the Travel Branch (Code 615), Accounting Division, Comptroller Department of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience utilizing comprehensive knowledge of the Government Travel Charge Card (GTCC) Program including executing regulations, guidelines and processes. Experience applying analytical reasoning in the identification, analysis and evaluation of budgetary problems and developing alternative solutions. Experience managing, analyzing and preparing financial reports. Experience utilizing the Defense Travel System (DTS), CitiBank Program, Financial Management Regulations (FMR) and the Joint Travel Regulations (JTR) or equivalent civilian systems. Experience compiling and presenting in-depth complex financial reports. You will assist in formulation of budget and estimates to support plans, programs and activities.
You will perform studies or assist others with full-scale financial studies.
